Moana Saves RAVE: Ameba TV
In February I reviewed Ameba TV, a commercial free children's programming. My children love the programming and especially having a remote they can call their own. Ameba has just announced new $3.99 pricing and online streaming. Now there are three ways you can watch Ameba: via the Ameba set top box, the Roku Digital Media Player and the internet! For more information go to http://amebatv.com/
We love our Ameba and wanted to rave a little more about it to y'all!

Moana Saves Rave: King Arthur Flour
Once in a while we come across a product that deserves another shout out.
Thus, a Moana Saves RAVE.
As in, not just good, or great, but we really do want to rave about you!
And, this time, it’s King Arthur Flour.

I reviewed a few King Arthur Flour baking products here on Moana Saves (all were GREAT!) but I just have to rave about their kids baking items. The pizza kit I reviewed in February was so much fun to make. I loved the simple instructions and more importantly the taste! I am a whole grain eating momma but this pizza crust was so light and flavorful I couldn't tell it was whole wheat until I checked the label. In the past I've also tried their ABC donut kit that unfortunately is a discontinued product. (BEST baked donuts I have ever tasted and my kids were the chefs. Hopefully a baked donut substitute is introduced before we hungry donut people go crazy!)
King Arthur Flour has some great looking kids baking products listed on their site. Head over HERE and check out their kids baking tools and food kits. I'm especially interested in trying out the foodoodler markers, edible ink from marker sized pens. Doesn't that look fun?

Moana Saves RAVE: Roots Only Hair Color Applicator
Once in a while we come across a product that deserves another shout out.
Thus, a Moana Saves RAVE.
As in, not just good, or great, but we really do want to rave about you!
And, this time, it’s the Roots Only Hair Color Applicator!
I reviewed Roots Only here in January using my mom as the tester and model. Since then I’ve colored my hair twice using the Roots Only Hair Color Applicator. The first time, nearly a month ago, I’d used a color that was a shade too light. But I had no complaints about the Roots Only applicator. The hair color I bought at Wags came with
its own comb-like applicator but Roots Only comb is twice as long and, therefore, distributes color twice as well. Today I used the Roots Only applicator again and while rinsing it out afterward, I marveled at how a simple little bottle makes at-home hair coloring so simple. The bathroom mess which was always a part of my process doesn’t exist now and I’m confident that I’m getting all of the gray patches growing in because the applicator makes it easy to apply color everywhere on my head. Mahalo nui, Roots Only! You’ve reduced my hair maintenance budget by at least two-thirds!
Thus, a Moana Saves RAVE.

You can purchase a single, double or triple pack of Roots Only Hair Color Applicators here.

You can't beat that!
Organic coconut and peanuts combined into a spread that is just lovely.
I've had numerous recipes floating around in my head that I could create using this unique and fun find!
Congratulations to Tropical Traditions Coconut Peanut Butter for reaching RAVE status here at Moana Saves!
(be prepared to bookmark the page, because you'll probably be back!)

A Moana Saves RAVE: Brilliant Lenses Cleaning Kit
Once in a while we come across a product that deserves another shout out. Thus, a Moana Saves RAVE. As in, not just good, or great, but we really do want to rave about you! And, this time, it’s Brilliant Lenses.
Like the last Rave I did, I'm choosing to highlight a product I reviewed on the blog and that we still continue to use on a regular basis. The Brilliant Lenses Cleaning Kit is alcohol and ammonia free. The spray cleans my cell phone touchscreen and Second Born's glasses so well that we get a little giddy about the clean. We even took the kit in its pouch with us on our Christmas trip so we could stay squeaky (clean) on the road. The website points out that Brilliant Lenses creates an "invisible durable barrier that resists scratches, soiling and water spots." While I can't swear by this statement, I do know that Second Born's glasses and my phone's touchscreen are scratch/soil/waterspot free and we'll keep using Brilliant Lenses to keep things that way.

A Moana Saves RAVE: SnackTAXI Reusable Sandwich and Snack Bags
Once in a while we come across a product that deserves another shout out. Thus, a Moana Saves RAVE. As in, not just good, or great, but we really do want to rave about you! And, this time, it’s SnackTAXI.
I posted a review of SnackTAXI reusable sandwich and snack bags HERE before Christmas and have been using them in Second Born's school lunch ever since. They clean up easily with either a rinse or run through the dishwasher plus the overall bag and closure has stood up well to everyday use. Every morning I smile inside when I'm using them to pack her lunch as I know I'm doing something good for the earth and it doesn't complicate my routine or clean-up at all. Often I have to fight the overpowering urge to give the whole world a SnackTAXI lunch makeover. OK, I'm exaggerating (slightly) but I do think everyone should try them out and, if you're so inclined, you can check them out HERE. At least look at the fabulous patterns they come in!

A Moana Saves RAVE: Udderly SMOOth
Thus, a Moana Saves RAVE.
As in, not just good, or great, but we really do want to rave about you!
And, this time, it’s Udderly SMOOth.
I posted a review HERE about a month ago, and knew it was good stuff, but you know what?

Now I’m out, and I’m sad.
I have some pretty nice, pricey lotions on my chest of drawers, but I’ve been sifting through them looking for the bottle with the cow print label.
Nuff said.
While the other lotions smell nice, and have imported oils, and blah, blah, blah, Udderly SMOOth is the one that works, heals my skin, smells nice, and I don’t have to keep reapplying it.
So, there you go.
Congratulations to Udderly SMOOth for reaching RAVE status here at Moana Saves!
Now I’m off to go get some more before I go crazy.
