Review and Giveaway: Knock, Knock PlayTime Pads

I am a homeschooler & this is my 2nd year into it, and so I am still working out the kinks. Well I have a 1 daughter who doesn't love to write. She'll write what she HAS to, but she struggles being creative with her writing. When I was introduced to Knock Knock Playtime Pads I hoped these products could help solve my/her creative writing block.


A bit about them: "Knock Knock was founded on January 1, 2002, by Jen Bilik, with the mission of creating interesting, smart, well-designed gift and stationery products, along with anything else that might strike the Knock Knock fancy." They have a whole kids line of fun creative playtime pads, as well as pads for home life & work. It is soo hard to choose JUST ONE.

Immediately after receiving our Knock Knock Playtime Pad: "Let's Pretend" we HAD to try it out. We decided this was going to be our school activity RIGHT THEN & THERE. And what a HIT! "Let's Pretend" is so cute; it has boxes to check for what you are & what you can do & a special place for kids to color what they are.

Both girls loved it! It totally jump-started a creative writing WAVE. After spending time discussing all the many things they could be & do, they HAD to do another one. So we did.

This was definitely JUST what I need for our creative writing. My 2nd grader will even write stories on the back of it. Now we have implemented this FUN ACTIVITY into our daily homeschool routine, the kids REALLY look forward to doing their "creative writing."
